I have been involved with art and have painted since a very young age.

I take inspiration from many sources but mainly from landscape, sea, sky and nature and I work with a variety of media.

Since graduating in botany and mycology at Sheffield University in the 1980s, I have been deeply interested in plant structure and physiology and I am currently trying to improve my botanical painting and illustration skills.
