Dana Kucewicz
I studied at Leeds College of Art for the Intermediate Certificate in Art and Crafts and then for the National Diploma in Design.
After a long period of raising my family, I worked for a firm of Consulting Engineers doing technical drawing.
In the meantime I painted occasionally e.g. after a holiday taking inspiration from the scenery or flowers.
Out of admiration for Monet I have copied a few of his paintings.
I attended summer painting schools at Marie Blake’s (Lyme Regis) and St. Ives School of Painting, led by Roy Ray.
Since my retirement I have spent more time painting in oils and sketching with watercolours, always inspired by the beauty and colours in a landscape
